Rochelle is currently in her first year at Simon Fraser University, pursuing a bachelor's
degree in criminology and a police studies minor. She recently joined the Miss Filipina
International Pageant this July 2022 in Los Angeles where she placed top 10 and is proud to
say that it was her first pageant experience.
In her past years of involvement in policing, Rochelle has been in the Vancouver Police
Department (VPD) Cadet program since 2019, which inspired her to pursue becoming a police
officer. She has volunteered and worked with numerous associations, such as the Philippine
Cultural Association in Vancouver, New Democratic Political Party (NPD), and Vancouver Police
Department. She hopes to get more opportunities to work with organizations around the world
in the future by competing in Miss Canada Globe.
She is also a very athletic woman. Through her years at St. Patricks Regional Secondary
school, she was named the Most Valuable Player 8 times and more athletic awards in her high
school basketball career. Rochelle is also a talented singer since she was young, she was part
of her school's Choir since grade the start of her high school journey and Auditioned Chamber
Choir when she was in grade 10. Rochelle also enjoys dancing, playing the piano, shopping,
and travelling around the world, playing volleyball, swimming, ultimate frisbee, and track & field.
She has started modelling this year and recently modelled for Renee Salud Cultural Fashion
Show for the Phillippine Tapestry in Vancouver this September 2022. Lastly, she hopes to gain
more experience from Miss Canada Globe and more friendships with her new pageant sisters. |
