Busie is currently an Office Manager at Matthew House Refugee Ministry in Fort Erie. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada since October 2020. Busie was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Busie is a passionate Rotarian that likes to help build and grow communities by making an impact and evolving with the change that the rotary club brings to the Fort Erie Community.In her past years of charity work and community involvement, Busie has worked with numerous organizations such as the Salvation Army, Canadian Red Cross and Niagara Region homeless services. Busie holds a diploma in Development Studies from the CDS College in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. She holds a degree in English and Communication from the Midlands State University in Gweru, Zimbabwe and has a Masters in Social Sciences from the University of KwaZulu Natal in Durban, South Africa. She has worked as a teacher, journalist, and lecturer and is currently the Office Manager for Matthew House Refugee Shelter in Fort Erie, Canada.

She works closely with new comers that arrive in Canada in search of a new home. Busie serves as the first place of contact for all refugees from all corners of the world. Busie also enjoys swimming, cooking, baking, home décor, reading and listening to audio books and podcasts, shopping, trying out restaurants, and especially travelling. Through entering the pageant, she hopes to gain more opportunities in the future to work with charities across the country.She is currently modeling part time.
