Destiny was born in Calgary, Alberta. Being the oldest of three children, she strived to be an example of leadership and confidence. Growing up in Wetaskiwin, Alberta she had the opportunity to volunteer with different organizations including the Emergency Shelter in Wetaskiwin, The Mustard Seed in Edmonton, Alberta, and more currently the youth program with Family and Community Services in Killam, Alberta. At the age of 16 she helped her mom to build a non-profit called Agape Thrift Store that helped individuals who were struggling, through outreach programs in the city of Wetaskiwin. She devoted her time after classes and during the summer to the thrift store; and at one point she was able to help keep the store open while her mom was sick in the hospital. Through the pageant, Destiny has found and hopes to continue finding opportunities in her communities to stay involved.

At the age of 17, Destiny graduated high school and went into nursing school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She is currently doing studies to continue her nursing education through Athabasca University and will achieve a Bachelor of Science in Nursing upon completion. She has grown a strong passion for nursing and cares wholeheartedly for the patients she interacts with daily.

In her limited free time, Destiny enjoys playing piano, singing, reading, and painting. She spends most of her free time going to the gym, as she loves to stay active and maintain a healthy mind and body. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
